Introduction to English Literature (Short Stories) To introduce the students to the short story and the novel as a minor and major form of literature respectively.
B.A.II English for Communication To introduce skills of communication useful for students in their career in future
Literature and Cinema III To introduce students to modern English literature
Partition Literature IV To introduce students to modern Indian English literature
B.A.III English for Communication To Enable students, to acquire English for everyday contexts as well as for specific purposes in their discipline of study and Applicability or Usage of English language in their professional Life.
Literary Criticism and Critical Appreciation: To introduce the major trends in literary criticism and major critical concepts, literary movements, from the Classical theory to Modern criticism to Students.
Understanding Poetry To introduce the students to poetry from various directions and to enable them read poems aloud and memorize lines.
Understanding Drama To introduce the students with drama as a major form of literature and highlight elements, definition and make them distinguish between tragedy and comedy as a form.
Understanding Novel To introduce the students with the novel as a major form of literature –aspects, types, and translated version of the novel.
Structure and Function of Modern English To Introduce to students the language, linguistics (Phonetics to Syntaxes) and Brnaches of linguistics, speech mechanism, basic sounds its Phonetic transcription and articulation, Morphology, word transcription, Phrases and its types, clauses and its types, cohesive devices, and discourse analysis.
